Welcome to the beginning of a healthier you! My name‘s Jes and I’m the founder of The Bees Pilates.
A little about me… If you asked my friends and family to describe me in a few words, you’d likely hear the words passionate, caring and bubbly, all of which I love to bring to the mat!
I’ve always been an active person from a very young age - from surfing, to playing multiple sports throughout school, running in my early 20s and being a regular at a gym. It wasn’t until a few too many box jumps (and very sore knees) I realised that I needed to mix up my training… so I listened to my body and my chiropractor and opted for lower impact movement.
In 2016 I started attending mat pilates in London, as a recommendation for mild scoliosis and that’s when I truly began to understand what my body and mind was capable of (and with limited equipment!)
I started to love my physique and felt strong! My core strength improved my scoliosis and pilates complimented my other training - from that point on, I was hooked!
My passion for helping others and a relentless desire to preach the good word of Pilates is my ”why” and thus, in 2021 after gaining my Certification, The Bees Pilates was born.

The Bees Pilates is all about leading you through dynamic and functional pilates classes that challenge the mind and body, all the while making you feel long, strong and grounded (and maybe cracking a few smiles and jokes along the way)
You’ll come for the pilates and stay for the playlist - I love to bring all of the fun vibes from a studio session to my one on ones and small group classes, which plays an important part in the approach to leading our clients through a signature TBP burn.
TBP OG Mat - The OG mat pilates class, offers total body toning, focusing on mind-body connection by strengthening and lengthening the muscles. In this class you’ll move in all the right ways to improve core strength, posture and spinal health. Those endorphins will, well and truly be buzzing!
TBP Stretchy Flow - Slowing it right down, we’ll focus on stretching and combine some lower intensity pilates moves. There’s a strong emphasis on alignment and breathing for a much needed release from daily stresses on the body - a real favourite for Corporate clients.
TBP Sweat - Like our Mat Pilates, but with a cardio edge. You’ll get your total body toning from dynamic moves and higher intensity bursts to get your heart rate pumping. This class is sure to leave you sweaty, buzzing and wanting more!
TBP Strong - With the addition of weights, this class challenges your mind, body & strength to perform mat pilates moves with control. Perfect for anyone looking for that extra challenge, for that extra burn, or wanting to build long lean muscles.

Pilates is a low-moderate impact style of exercise, which originated from German Physician Joseph Pilates, to help with injury rehabilitation. Pilates focuses on mind-body connection to isolate relevant muscles to perform each movement, all the while using the breath to execute each movement with control.
We recommend wearing comfortable, breathable clothing that allows for a full range of movement. For hygiene purposes, please wear grip socks.
Mat Pilates is done on the floor using just your bodyweight, while Reformer Pilates uses specialised machines called a reformer, to aid resistance and/or support to Pilates exercises.
Single classes and 5 packs are valid for 1 year after purchase.
